I have a collaborative track, Pterion with Mouse on Mars included in their upcoming release, 21 Again on Monkeytown Records. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with MOM for this project.

I am so happy to announce my first duo performance ever (or at least since childhood)
with my cousin Russ Alderson a.k.a. XANTHOCEPHALUS at Prospect Range

World Premiere of Letter Beacon for flute, bass clarinet, two percussionists, and short wave radio. I will be performing the electronics and radio part in the concert.

Live performance and collaborative accompaniment with the amazing Tomeka Reid to three short silent films, curated by Penny Duff/BCH and Lou Mallozzi/ESS.
The Dec 6th performance will be at ESS, 5925 N Ravenswood Ave. Time TBA. The Dec 7th performance will be at BCH. Performance space address and time TBA soon
Joseph C. Mills and Marvin Tate will also be participating in the project, performing in November.

Deborah Stratman’s Second Sighted included in the NY Film Festival

I am pleased to announce that Second Sighted, the short video by Deborah Stratman, including sound design by myself, will screen at this year’s New York Film Festival on October 3rd at Lincoln Center, 9:15 PM. The screening is part of the excellent Projections series.
The video was originally created as a commission for the Chicago Film Archives. We utilized original materials from the archive for sounds and images to complete the video.
